Just a quick entry about our EmmaLi she is a happy child and will let anyone hold her (not that I let anyone-will be working on attachment for a long while) but, our nice guide Fred held her for a little bit going up the wall yesterday, he was being kind but, I was anxious to hold her again. Anyway, she is very good natured. When we feed her she is screaming Mama if she likes it and we take it as more, more. Her biggest smiles have come from ice-cream and chocolate and this nasty looking green rice cereal. She eats well but, the last 2 days not drinking as much. It has me concerned because there haven't been enough wet diapers. I remembered that the orphanage they were spooning from a bowl juice to her and I will try that today. She is suffering from a little cold and I am kicking myself I didn't bring children's cold medicine. We only brought benadryl, Ibprofen and Tylenol in children's medicine. Oh, well we will have to make do. I will have Jon give her a blessing. Yesterday I experienced a piece of heaven. EmmaLi was across the hotel room from me and she waved at me and through me a kiss. It was so sweet. I love when she reaches for me and says Mama even if she doesn't know the true meaning of "Mama" yet. I am truly grateful and blessed to be a part of this little girl's life.
