Ni hao!

My brilliant husband has figured out how to post! Hopefully Aunt Becky won't feel too bad! We are getting serious stares wherever we go and EmmaLi is attracting many to her! And why wouldn't she? She is adorable however everything we brought for her to wear is too big! She is so little! She probably would be a 12 month size or maybe even smaller. We have tried numerous times to buy more clothes without success yet-we will keep trying. She loves to walk and fast! That would be the chinese way-I think! Everyone seems to walk very fast or we are very slow (could be that). EmmaLi is our little chipmunk even after eating lots she seems to leave things in her mouth. We went to KFC and she stuffed her little mouth with pieces of chicken and had it in her mouth for a long time either she didn't really like it or she wanted to make sure she had some for later not sure which. I had been putting off bathing her because I thought it would freak her out, she seems to not like it when we change her or anything like that. Actually she did great! She seems to love it so, what do I know? We are starting to feel at home in the Hotel now, we can't find anything here either ha ha. EmmaLi is very quiet and yet, she will let you know if she is not happy, bummer already taking after her Mommy. She has stopped asking for Mama and I think she realizes a little more that she is not going back I think that is why she couldn't be consoled on the way home yesterday. Her sad small cry makes my heart ache but, her laugh is like listening to angels sing. The hotel is so nice I keep asking Jon can we really afford this and I have thoughts of being underdressed all the time. Our guide made nice accomodations for us and he is a tour guide so, he is anxious to show us Nanjing so we will start doing that tomorrow! I will feel much better for someone to speak for us! Grandpa Hirschi we are anxious to show you the garden things we have noticed here and that is why I included the picture of Jon, Jessica and EmmaLi in the garden at the Hotel we are staying at.
