So, my friend called and said she was stopping by my house and before she hung up the phone mentioned a blog I should visit. So, I put a mask on and go check out the blog while I wait to wash it off.
Of course I blogged a little too long (as I always do) and the doorbell rings. I ask Jessica to answer the door while I wipe off the mask and this is the conversation they had in the meantime.
Jessica: My Mom will be here after she gets her mask off.
Maddie: What kind of mask does your Mom have on, an animal mask?
Jessica: No, it's this stuff she rubs all over her face.
Maddie: Why does she do that?
Jessica: I don't know she just tries to make her skin look good!
(It's been suggested to me that next time I know Maddie is coming I answer the door with a zoo pal paper plate over my face-ya know I might just try that!)
LIFE, always somethin' to laugh about, right?
