Jokes on me

So, after the passionate entry on listening to the President yesterday I was very excited to hear Jessica's reaction to the President's message. Guess what? I got in trouble because her words, "why didn't you get me out of that boring talk? It was so boring!" Oh, boy someone has got some learning to do and that happens to be...me! Including the "golden rule" especially where my family is concerned. To put it mildly, I've had my turbo broom out running lately and if anyone happens to read this (Jon) so sorry! I guess I need to practice a little more what I tend to preach! But, looking on the bright side if President O'bama wanted to slip in some political propaganda, no worries for me my child won't listen anyway! It's too boring!
Jokes on me!

You're so funny. I thought it was more of a high school speech when I listened to it. Kids don't get passionate about responsibility like adults do. Oh well.

I let my oldest choose and she opted out, and I felt Aubree and Dallin was too young to care so none of them watched it! With them being so young what matters is all the "primary" answers! Just my personal take on it all-I fell if they focus on all of that we will be ok (I hope)

That's funny, Kim. I asked Lauryn what she thought about it and she said, "Mom, all I remember him saying is stay home from school when your sick." I guess the President did teach her something important that she'll remember.
