I'm just as excited as everyone else is to see the change Obama promised us! I will pray for his success and try to do all I can to help (any suggestions??) our country get back on it's feet! Although I hold tremendous respect for McCain and have to say I was disappointed he was not elected, I will respect the office of President. I have been alarmed at our media and the American people in general at the lack of respect given to this office (even when we don't agree with what is being done-or not done). No matter our politics, we are all Americans and should stand together. I'm grateful Pres. Obama sees that already! I'm extremely excited that America elected our First African American President and I was here to witness it!

I had hated the election until last night when I saw both of their speeches. I thought that they were both incredible and we told the girls that no matter who won, they were old enough to always remember such a historical election.
