Today was one of those days as a parent you just burst with pride! Today was our primary program and Jessica gave her part which was: "This last year we sustained a new prophet, Pres. Thomas S. Monson when we raised our hand to sustain him we signaled we would accept and support him as our direct link to Heavenly Father." She memorized it word for word and sang the songs, my favorite being "If the Savior stood beside me..." Don't know if that is the correct title but, that's how we know it at our house. I'm so grateful for Primary helping Jessica learn so much in the gospel. I don't know how parents do it without the help of Primary. Jessica is such a wonderful person, I feel honored to be her parent and this year has been really trying me emotionally with her, I see her growing up and I just want to hold her closer and tighter than I ever have before to keep her safe and sheltered. I've pondered that so much lately, and the song "safe in my arms" is how I feel so much, the only difference is I know she will not be safe in my arms but, she will be safe in His arms. Thank goodness I know that and through Primary (and hopefully a little influence at home)she will come to know that as well. Thank you Primary!

You got the song title right! And, it's my favorite! We had our program yesterday, too. I'm glad yours went well and that Jessica participated!
I love this song as well. I am sure Jes did a great job. She always does well at everything she does. By the way it looks like you figured things out. Your blog looks awesome!
